Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Friday.
According to the committee, the price of tomato (Nepali) big (Nepali) is Rs 75 per kg, tomato ‘big’ (Indian) Rs 80 per kg, tomato small (local) Rs 52 per kg, tomato small (Terai) Rs 40 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) Rs 72 per kg, potato red (long) Rs 30 per kg, potato red (round) Rs 25 per kg and onion dried (Indian) Rs 36 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been reduced to Rs 60 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 40 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 50 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 45 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 45 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stem) Rs 40 per kg, maize beans Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 70 per kg, peas beans Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 130 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 70 per kg, gourd Rs 50 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 50 per kg, parwar (Terai) Rs 45 per kg. Likewise, chichindo has been sold at Rs 35 per kg, cucumber at Rs 50 per kg, jhingu at Rs 60 per kg, ripe farsi at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (lambcho) at Rs 40 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 35 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 70 per kg, okra at Rs 35 per kg and pindalu at Rs 50 per kg.
Likewise, squash has been fixed at Rs 70 per kg, mustard at Rs 80 per kg, spinach at Rs 120, mustard at Rs 40 per kg, Chamsur greens at Rs 120 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 120 per kg, green onion at Rs 120 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 400 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Broccoli costs Rs 100 per kg, beetroot Rs 60 per kg, niguro Rs 80 per kg, Kurillo Rs 350 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 40 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 110 per kg, Jiri greens Rs 100 per kg, Parsley Rs 300 per kg, Celery Rs 150 per kg, Fennel greens Rs 120 per kg, mint Rs 100 per kg, ganteradish Rs 60 per kg, tamarind Rs 180 per kg. The price of copper has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg, topu at Rs 150 per kg and gundruk at Rs 300 per kg.
Apple (Fuji) Rs 325 per kg, lemon Rs 260 per kg, banana (Malbhog) Rs 220, banana (Nepali) Rs 200, pomegranate Rs 450 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 280 per kg, grapes (green) Rs 320 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 35 per kg, pineapple (local) Rs 230 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 55 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 30 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 50 per kg, jackfruit tree (local) Rs 70 per kg. Similarly, papaya (Nepali) has been set at Rs 90 per kg, papaya (Indian) Rs 100 per kg, lychee (Indian) Rs 280 per kg and avocado Rs 800 per kg.
Similarly, ginger costs Rs 160 per kg, dried chilli Rs 430 per kg, chilli green (longcho) Rs 100 per kg, chilli green (bullet) Rs 80 per kg, fish chilli Rs 70 per kg, sheep chilli Rs 60 per kg, green garlic Rs 200 per kg, green coriander Rs 120 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 190 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 120 per kg, dried chilli Rs 140 per kg. Fish (rahu) has been fixed at Rs 330 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 310 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 260 per kg.
