Kathmandu. A total of 774 vehicles including and and have been handed over to the customs. The vehicles were seized while they were entering the northern border from Korala, handed over to the customs office. 

A senior official of the Armed Police Force (APF) confirmed that the vehicles were seized on suspicion of and handed over to the customs after discrepancies were found in the documentation. 

The vehicles were being transportedfrom Mustang to Kaski from Mustang and were kept at 4 places including Jomsom, Customs and Kaski.Currently, the vehicles have been handed over to the customs for further investigation, police said. 

The vehicles of BYD were imported by Cimex Company Pvt. Ltd. EV vehicles havebeen cleared on paper before the budget and has been cleared after the notice of change in tax rates on EV{{{} vehicles has been leaked before the budget. Currently, the customs is conducting further investigation into the inspection of these vehicles.
