Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has pasted a letter summoned to the then Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba for his statement at Deuba’s residence. 

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has summoned RJU for his statement after his name was implicated in the passport purchase contract case.

The CIAA has pasted the letter in the name of Arzoo outside the ruined Deuba residence. In the letter, the CIAA has directed RJU to appear before the court within three days for recording his statement. 

After the CIAA pasted the letter for statement at his residence, Arzoo sent an email to the CIAA stating that he was currently abroad for treatment and could not be present immediately.However, sources said that the commission is moving ahead with the intention of bringing RJU to Kathmandu at any cost. 

Currently, investigation is underway against Director General of the Department of Passports Tirtha Raj Aryal and Director Sunil Kumar Regmi in connection with the case.
