CPN-UML concludes ‘arrest of Bishnu Poudel unjustifiable’

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has demanded the release of former Finance Minister and party’s vice-chairman Bishnu Poudel. A meeting of the party’s parliamentary party demanded the release of Poudel. 

The UML has concluded that Poudel’s arrest was unjust.

The Department of Money Laundering Investigation (PMLA) had arrested Poudel from Surkhet on Monday.Poudel, who had reached Surkhet to attend a party programme, was arrested and brought to Kathmandu on Monday night.
