Kathmandu. As the FIFA World Cup 2026 is approaching, Nepal’s digital streaming platform DGO has announced an offer for the viewers. DIGO has announced that it will now provide mobile passes for mobile users at Rs 549 only. With this pass, viewers will be able to watch live matches of all 104 World Cup matches on their mobile phones.
According to the company, viewers will be able to enjoy the games in 1080p Full HD quality along with Nepali commentary. There will also be a facility to select Nepali or English commentary as per the need.
The company claims that the pass will provide a hassle-free experience to the viewers who can easily purchase it through the Digo app. The pass can be activated in a few clicks and the service can be accessed securely from the official platform.
According to a spokesperson of DGO, the scheme has been introduced to provide a quality and reliable streaming experience to Nepali viewers. “We want viewers to be able to watch the World Cup safely through official channels, without relying on suspicious links or third parties,” he said.
Meanwhile, the company has urged people to be aware of ‘free streaming’ or unauthorized apps appearing online. It has been suggested to use the official DGO app as such platforms can pose a risk to the personal and banking information of the users.
DGO believes that through this offer, the football lovers of Nepal will be able to experience the thrill of the World Cup in an easy, safe and affordable manner.
