Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has threatened to quit public life if he is found guilty of misbehaving even two rupees. Finance Minister Wagle made this challenge while clarifying in the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee. 

Wagle has also challenged the public to disclose the evidence at a time when he is being accused of manipulating the tax rate

After the Finance Minister accused the Finance Minister of misappropriating two billion rupees, the Finance Minister has announced that he is ready to quit public life if he is proved to have misappropriated not only two billion but also two rupees. 

‘… I’m ready to stand in the dock. Billions and trillions are being talked about. “I am ready to sacrifice not only the finance minister, I am ready to give up my public life if Swarnim Wagle is involved in any mischief worth two rupees,” he said. That’s my challenge. ’

Similarly, Finance Minister Wagle has pointed out the need to maintain the same level of morality and accountability by all people in public life.He said that the decisions related to the budget and tax policy have been made with economic principles, progressive tax systems and long-term economic interests in mind.
