Indian tourists throng Pokhara, tourism business booms

Kathmandu. Pokhara, the tourism capital of Nepal, is full of tourists with the arrival of Indian tourists.With the increase in the number of tourists especially in the Lakeside area, boat boats, trekking and other tourism activities have also become active.

According to boat entrepreneurs, more than fivethousand tourists have sailed to Fewa Lake in a single day.A significant number of Indian tourists have also been seen in various trekking routes around Annapurna area.

With the increasing number of tourists, most of the hotels in Pokhara are full.Tourism entrepreneurs have been excited after the number of tourists increased significantly during this period, which is generally considered to be the ‘off-season’.

According to tourism stakeholders, the number of Indian tourists has been increasing continuously since April.According to them, this situation is a positive and happy sign for Nepal’s tourism industry.

Hoteliers have said that the number of Indian tourists has increased significantly this year as compared to the previous years.The wave of tourist arrival that started from the Nepali New Year has continued till the end of Jeth.

Not only Pokhara, but the number of Indiantourists has been encouraging not only in Pokhara but also in the major religious and tourist destinations of Gandaki Province, especially Muktinath and various trekking routes.Indian citizens have started choosing Nepal as an attractive and convenient destination to find relief from the scorching heat in India and to utilize their vacations.
