Kathmandu. Chairperson of Janaki Medical College Om Prasad Pandey has been arrested. A team from the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB){{} arrested Pandey from Janaki Medical College inRamdaiya, Dhanusha. 

According to a senior CIB official, he was arrested after he was found to have taken loan by setting up an artificial company and conducting an unnaturally high valuation of without DPR. 

According to the official, he had taken a loan from Prabhu Bank.It has been revealed that he had misused the loan taken from the bank and invested elsewhere. According to the CIB, he was arrested after he was found to have misused the loan taken from the bank .

According to the CIB,Pandey is being investigated under the ‘Banking Offence and Punishment Act, 2064′.Janaki Medical College was established in 2003 under Tribhuvan University.
