Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has distributed school bags to Butwal Secondary School through its branch office Butwal as a part of its corporate social responsibility. Mr. Hemanta Babu Acharya, Head of Butwal Region, distributed school bags to 70 poor and underprivileged children of Butwal Secondary School.
Speaking at the program, Butwal Area Chief Acharya said that the school bag was provided keeping in mind the educational needs of the children studying in the elementary level. For school-going children, the school bag is not only a means to carry things, but also a medium to increase their attraction, self-confidence and sense of responsibility towards school.
On the occasion, School Principal Hom Bahadur Rayamajhi expressed gratitude to the bank for the support and expressed his confidence that the support would increase enthusiasm among the students towards the school and also provide relief to the parents.
The program was attended by the bank’s employees, school principals, teachers and parents. The bank has stated that it will continue such programs in the coming days in coordination and collaboration with the stakeholders.
