Rs 350 million investment to start ‘Skincare’ manufacturing industry in Nepal

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: A world-class skincare product has begun in Nepal with the help of Korean technology and Nepali entrepreneurship. A Nepalese brand ‘ORA’ has established a factory in Imadol, Lalitpur with an investment of Rs 350 million and has brought international standard skin care products to the market.

The company has been producing world-class products in Nepal using Korean science, research, technology and high quality raw materials.

Chief of NK Cosmetics Pvt Ltd and former President of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Binod Kunwar said the company was established to provide international standard quality products to Nepali consumers at affordable price.

Currently, the company has launched nine major skincare products in the market and plans to launch 10-15 new products in the near future.

With the expansion of manufacturing capacity, the company will be able to produce more than one hundred types of cosmetics, skincare and personal beauty products from its industry. The company was established in a joint venture between Nepali and Korean entrepreneurs. In the press conference, beauty expert Jeho Hur said that the company is helping in the development of the product.

The company employs 25 Nepali employees directly in the management, production, marketing and sales departments.
