Kathmandu. Dhangadhi Milk Distribution Project under the Dairy Development Corporation at Kanari of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-15 has collected revenue of Rs 60 million in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year.

The project has been collecting milk from various cooperatives and farms in Dadeldhura, Kailali and Kanchanpur districts and has processed milk and sold its products like paneer, ice cream and other products in the local market, said project chief Nirajan Bhattarai. The dairy products produced by the project are supplied in Dhangadhi, Attariya, Dadeldhura, Dipayal and Tikapur markets.

Currently, the project has been collecting 3,500 litres of milk daily and has set up its own collection centres in Belauri of Kanchanpur, Gulara of Lamki of Kailali and Basanta of Tikapur.
