Kathmandu. Savers of Karnali Development Bank have staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu against the non-refund of their deposits. Depositors of 19 branches of the bank in Banke, Bardiya and Dang districts gathered in Kathmandu on Monday and staged a demonstration.

They complain that they have not been able to get their deposits back for a long time and the concerned authorities have not heeded their demands.

During the demonstration, they carried placards with slogans such as “Take action against the culprits of Karnali Bank fraud, return the savings of the institutions, and immediately return the deposits of the people”. Stating that their savings are at risk due to irregularities in the bank, they have demanded to ensure the return of the money immediately. See the rest of the image:
