Kathmandu. The closed tea industries have reopened. The tea industries in Jhapa and Ilam that were closed since June 1 and 19 have reopened.
As many as 30 CT C tea industries in Jhapa have reopened after the government of Nepal assured to resolve the problems of tea industrialists by forming a special task force.
The secretariat of Balendra Shah (Balen) had assured to form a high-level task force to resolve the problem of tea exports after the Prime Minister showed concern over the problems of tea industrialists and the tea industrialists.
Industrialists have said Industries have reopened in the hope of resolving the problem after the Prime Minister himself expressed concern over the problem. According to industrialists, the export of Nepali tea was affected after the Tea Board of India imposed a new standard (SOP) in the name of testing the quality of Nepali tea.
