Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said that the price of electric vehicles (EV) will be reduced by . Speaking at the post-budget discussion held in Kathmandu, Finance Minister Wagle said that the price of vehicles below Rs 50 lakh will be reduced and the road construction fee will be halved.
He also clarifies that in the case of luxury of EV, is to balance the foreign exchange reserve and the tax is determined according to the principle of progressive taxation.
“The budget has provided a monthly nutrition allowance of Rs 1,000 to 317,000 Dalit children in 25 remote districts and across the country,” Wagle said.
Stating that clarity has been brought on the tax rate as per the demand of the investors in the case of capital market, he said that the government has moved ahead with the determination to strengthen the foundation of the economy with good intention and capacity.
