Traffic police collect Rs 1.17 crore fine in a week

Kathmandu. In a week, more than 10 million revenue has been collected from traffic action {{. The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has collected Rs 11.7 million from June 24 to June 29 in revenue of Rs 1.17 million. 

During this period, a total of 16,333 drivers were taken action for violating traffic rules , according to the Traffic Police. 

According to the traffic police, action has been taken against those involved in drunken driving (measured), sharing of ride, signs and speeding and speeding

Apart from this, action has also been taken against those flouting lane discipline, blowing horns in prohibited areas, driving vehicles on one-way roads, driving black glassed vehicles and parking in prohibited areas , traffic police said.
