Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The CPN-UML has decided to go to court challenging the report of the National Human Rights Commission. Issuing a press release on Friday, the CPN-UML said that it is preparing to go to court against the report prepared on the Gen-G agitation of September 7 and 24.
The UML has concluded that the report of the commission is prejudiced, ill-intentioned and conspiratorial.
However, the UML has said that it will ask the EC to review the report before going to court. However, if the EC does not review the report, UML is preparing to go to court against it.
Similarly, after the EC asked CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and others to take action even if they make laws, theEC has questioned the jurisdiction of the commission saying that it does not have jurisdiction to formulate any law or direct the government to formulate any kind of punitive law.
