Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Tuesday.
According to the committee, tomato big (Nepali) is being sold at Rs 60 per kg, tomato big (Indian) at Rs 75 per kg, tomato big (local) at Rs 30 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 40 per kg, potato red (long) at Rs 35 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 32 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 43 per kg.
Similarly, carrot (local) has been reduced to Rs 80 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 45 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 80 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 20 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 40 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 50 per kg.
Similarly, beans (stems) Rs 90 per kg, maize beans Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 80 per kg, ghee beans Rs 110 per kg, tata beans Rs 130 per kg, soybean beans Rs 150 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 30 per kg, gourd Rs 80 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 65 per kg, Ghee (local) Rs 60 per kg. Chicken has been sold at Rs 42 per kg, Jhiguni at Rs 60 per kg, Farsi Ripe at Rs 60 per kg, Farsi Green (Lamcho) at Rs 80 per kg, Green Farsi (Dallo) at Rs 50 per kg, Okra at Rs 50 per kg, Sakharkhanda at Rs 80 per kg, Pindalu at Rs 40 per kg and Pindalu at Rs 800 per kg.
Likewise, mustard greens have been fixed at Rs 60 per kg, spinal leaves at Rs 90 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 50 per kg, fenugreek greens at Rs 60 per kg, green onion at Rs 100 per kg, mushroom at Rs 260 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 500 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Cucumber costs Rs 350 per kg, Neuro Rs 80 per kg, Broccoli Rs 120 per kg, Beetroot Rs 60 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 120 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 50 per kg, Jiri Greens Rs 100 per kg, Celery Rs 130 per kg, Parsley Rs 220 per kg, Fennel greens Rs 90 per kg, Mint Rs 120 per kg, Maize Green Vegetables Rs 50 per kg, Gangteradish Rs 60 per kg. Tamarind has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, copper at Rs 140 per kg, tofu at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.
Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 200, banana (Malbhog) Rs 220, lemon Rs 220 per kg, pomegranate Rs 420 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 120 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 130 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 45 per kg, pineapple (local) Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 80 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, tree jackfruit Rs 50 per kg. The price of pear (Chinese) has been fixed at Rs 160 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, Indian papaya (Indian) at Rs 100 per kg, litchi (local) at Rs 250 per kg, litchi (Indian) at Rs 300 per kg, coconut (raw) at Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) at Rs 180 per kg.
Similarly, ginger Rs 130 per kg, dried chilli Rs 450 per kg, chilli green (lamcho) Rs 50 per kg, chilli green (bullet) Rs 40 per kg, fish chilli Rs 60 per kg, Akbare chilli Rs 400 per kg, sheep chilli Rs 70 per kg, green garlic Rs 180 per kg, green coriander Rs 120 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 220 per kg and garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 180 per kg. Fresh fish has been fixed at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish (rahu) at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 250 per kg.
