Kathmandu. The BP Highway has been closed for vehicular movement since 12.30 pm today in view of the possible risks.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Dhulikhel, Rabin Bista informed that all types of vehicles have been banned along the road section of the river considering the safety of passengers and vehicles.

According to him, vehicles passing through the BP Highway have been stopped at Khurkot and Nepalthok in coordination with the security committee of Dhulikhel and Sindhuli.

The indefinite strike has been extended again after the BP Highway was obstructed day by day due to unseasonal rain. Police have appealed to all to travel only after taking information about the condition of the road.
