Banks and financial institutions can also show the interest collected till July 29 in the profit of June!

Kathmandu. Banks and financial institutions (BFIs) will be able to show the interest collected till July 29 in the profit of the month of July. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the Unified Directive to make this provision. 

The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended the directive and extended the grace period till July 29 to collect the interest matured by mid-July. 

With this, banks and financial institutions will also be able to show the interest collected within 15 days of the end of the fiscal year (up to July 30) in the income of the current fiscal year.
