Kathmandu. Former Finance Minister and CPN-UML leader Bishnu Poudel has been released on general date. Poudel has been released as per the court order. 

A three-member bench of Justices Narayan Prasad Poudel,Dilliratna Shrestha and Bidur Koirala had ordered the release of Poudel on general date. 

Citing three grounds in the order, the court concluded that there was no need to proceed with the case by keeping Poudel in custody or seeking bail.
