Kathmandu. The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has forwarded the process to operate land bank at the local level.
According to the secretariat of Minister for Land Management Pratibha Rawal, the process has been initiated with the objective of using the unused and barren private land in productive sector.
According to the notice made public by the Ministry, the unused private land can be used through the local level as per the legal provisions made by the Land Use Act, 2076 BS and Land Use Regulations, 2079 (Third Amendment, 2082).
