Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, 2,176 drivers have been found violating traffic rules in Kathmandu Valley.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Naresh Prasad Subed i, spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 81 were found drun k, 101 were involved in riding (, 159 were found violating thesignal lights and 202 were driving in high speed.

Among them were those flouting lane discipline, 110 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 110 for parking on the road, 66 for one-way traffic and 1,055 for not following other traffic rules. Rs 10.62 lakh has been recovered from the action.
