NIC ASIA Bank provides financial assistance to 4 community schools in Dadeldhura, Rukum West and Achham districts

Kathmandu. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, NIC Asia Bank has provided laptops, desktop computers, printers and projectors to Shree Bhuwaneshwari Secondary School, Asarpa, Dadeldhura, Serigaun of Nawadurga Rural Municipality-1, Serigaun of Musikot Municipality-5, Yamunananda Namuna Secondary School, Rukum West, Mangalsen Municipality-9, Oligaun, Oligaun, Achham and Annapurna Secondary School, Mangalsen Municipality-14, Kalagaun, Achham ।

The bank has provided 2 projectors to more than 153 students of Bhuvaneshwari Secondary School to aid in quality education. The projectors were handed over by the bank’s Dadeldhura branch chief Padam Raj Bhatta to the school’s principal Deepak Prasad Bhatta amidst a function held on July 3.

Similarly, the bank has provided printers to Yamunananda Namuna Secondary School, which has more than 1087 students. The printer was handed over by the bank’s Rukum (West) branch chief Omkar Gharti Magar to the school’s principal Kam Prasad Devkota amidst a function held on July 3.

Likewise, the bank has provided 2 laptops, 4 desktop computers and a printer to Shree Mangala Nepal Rastriya Secondary School to facilitate its access to quality education and technology. Surendra Bahadur Thapa, head of the Sanfebagar branch of the bank, handed over the laptop, desktop computer and printer to the Chairman of School Management Committee Ramesh Rawal and Principal of the school Tej Bahadur Rawal.

On the same day, the bank’s Sanphebagar branch chief Surendra Bahadur Thapa handed over two laptops, 4 desktop computers and a printer to Annapurna Secondary School, located at Mangalsen Municipality-14, Kalagaun, Achham.

The bank believes that the support provided to the schools will help in improving the quality education of students, facilitate access to technology and administrative work in the school.
