Kathmandu. The jersey worn by Brazilian footballer Pele has been sold for 4.9 million dollars (about 67 million }}. The jersey that Pelé wore to the 1958 FIFA World Cup final was sold for that price.

The jersey was sold at an auction held in New York at the Company} Press. 

This is the second most expensive jersey sold at auction in the history of football. The same jersey worn by Pelé sold for $105,500 in 2004 for $105,500 (70 ,505 pounds).

The previous jersey worn by Argentina’s Diego Maradona when he scored against England in the 1986 World Cup was sold for 7.1 million pounds in 2022 (about 1.31 billion 7.1 million.
