Kathmandu. The Koshi Province government has decided to provide relief to the families of the victims of the Dewangunj incident.

Spokesperson of the government and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Indramani Parajuli said that the government has decided to provide Rs two lakh each to the families of those killed in the incident.

Likewise, the government has announced a compensation of Rs 50,000 to the families of those injured and those affected in the arson of houses and shops. A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Friday took the decision in this regard.
