Kathmandu. The government is now planning to make every citizen involved in the tax system a millionaire. The government has introduced the scheme under the ‘Tax Payer Incentive Gift Programme’. 

For this, the government has also prepared the ‘Taxpayer Incentive Gift Program Operation Procedure, 2083’.

According to the procedure, the Value Added Tax (VAT) and Permanent Account Number (PAN) and will be eligible to participate in the scheme. 

To participate in the program, consumers will have to collect the original bill when purchasing goods worth more than Rs 100 or paying at a hotel/restaurant.The winner will be declared on the basis of the bill number and a gift will be given. For now, on the 16th and last day of every month, (fortnightly will be announced. 

The government had announced this program through the budget. ‘Taxpayer Incentive Gift Program Operation Procedure, 2083’:
