Kathmandu. More than 1,000 traffic police have been arrested in the last 24 hours. According to the data provided by the traffic police, 1,209 traffic police have been arrested till Sunday morning.

According to the Traffic Police, 96 were taken for drunken driving, 50 for ride-sharing and 51 for using red light.

Similarly, action has been taken against 143 drivers for speeding, 56 for honking horn in prohibited zones, 41 for lane crossing, 43 for poor condition, 25 for one-way traffic and 724 drivers for others.
