Zoo closed due to bird flu reopens (Photos)

Kathmandu. The Central Zoo at Jawalakhel in Lalitpur has been opened for the general public since Friday. The zoo, which has been closed since June 5, has been opened for observation after the infection came under control.

The zoo was closed after the crow died and tested positive. A total of 41 animals and birds had died at the zoo due to bird flu.

The Zoo administration has urged the general public not to provide food to the animals, to maintain distance, not to stay in close proximity to the animals for long and to wear a mask. See the rest of the image:
