Kathmandu. A man has been arrested on the charge of swindling money by promising to send him to Croatia for foreign employment. The arrested are from Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. The deceased is Nawaraj Bhatta, 44, who is currently living in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31.

Bhatta had taken Rs 8.5 lakh from one of the victims on the promise of sending him to Croatia on the pretext of lucrative salary.

He was arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31, Shankhamul in course of the investigation, police said. He has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal for further investigation and action, police said.
