KATHMANDU: Three branches of NIC Asia Bank have been completely damaged due to the loss of life and property due to the massive flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district on August 23.

The bank said that all the employees working in the affected areas are currently in a safe place and if needed, the bank is preparing to shift the staff and family members along with them by helicopter.

Due to the floods, the buildings of Syafrubesi branch of Yes Bank in Rasuwa district and Betrawati branch office in Nuwakot district have been swept away by the floods, while the Trishuli branch office has been completely damaged and is buried in mud. The bank has said that the branch offices will remain closed until further notice.

The Bank has expressed sorrow over the loss of physical and human life in the area due to the sudden and unimaginable floods.
