Fourth Quarter Report: Nabil Bank’s Profit Rises to Rs 8 Billion, EPS Rises By Rs 6

. Na bil Bank has earned a net profit of Rs. 7.90 billion in the fourth quarter of the last FY. According to the bank’s unaudited financial statements, is 33.50 percent more than the previous fiscal year. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 5.92 billion in the same period last year. 

The bank’s loan loss arrangement (impairment charge) decreased from Rs. 4.20 billion to Rs. 2.67 billion during the review period. 

The bank’s net interest income } increased by 4.18 percent to Rs 17 billion and operating profit increased by 11.56 percent to Rs 11.56 billion from Rs 9.25.22. 

The improvement in the bank’s profit has been seen due to the reduction in the impairment charge and the increase in the interest income and operating profit of the bank. During the review period, the bank’s net profit stood atRs 5.16 billion, while the bank’s net profit stood at Rs 19.10 crore in the review period. 

The bank’s profit and earnings per share (EPS) also increased during the review period. During the period, the bank’s EP S increased by Rs 6.47 to Rs 28.36 during the period. The net worth per share of the bank has been fixed at Rs 247.28 per share .

The total paid-up capital of the bank stood at Rs. 32..05.69 billion and the total equity stood at Rs. 71.90 billion.In the review period, the bank disbursed loans of Rs. 592.55 billion while disbursed loans of Rs. 460.31 billion in the review period.
