Kathmandu. The price of gold has reached all- time high in the local market on Sunday. On Friday, gold price went down by Rs 1,200 per tola and silver by Rs 45 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is Rs 283,200 per tola today decreasing by Rs 4,315 per tola.

On Friday, the price of hallmark gold was Rs 2,85,000 per tola and Rs 4,360 per tola. On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 2,84,000 per tola while silver was traded at Rs 4,310 per tola.

According to media reports, gold is being traded at USD 4,063 per ounce and silver at USD 58 per ounce in the international market today.
