Kathmandu. The government has decided to completely waive tax on ambulances and mortuary vehicles. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday.
According to the government’s Spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel, with the decision, the clean infrastructure investment fee and value added tax (VAT) will be completely exempted from the clean infrastructure investment fee and value added tax (VAT) levied on electric ambulances and hearses imported from other countries or manufactured in Nepal.
