Kathmandu. The government is to raise the loan of one trillion rupees in three months. According to the loan schedule set by the Public Debt Management Office, the government is going to raise internal borrowing of Rs one trillion in the first quarter of the current fiscal year (three months).
Due to the low interest rate of the current loan, most of the loan for the current fiscal year is going to be taken in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
According to the loan schedule of the Public Debt Management Office, the government will raise internal borrowing of Rs 410 billion in the current fiscal year.In the first quarter, the government is raising Rs 10 billion through treasury bill and Rs 90 billion through development bonds.
In the second quarter, the government will raise Rs 10 billion through treasury bill, Rs 80 billion through development bonds, Rs 2.50 billion through citizen savings and Rs 500 million through foreign employment bonds.
In the third quarter, Rs 30 billion will be raised through treasury bills and Rs 90 billion through development bonds, while in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year, Rs 54 billion will be raised through treasury bills, Rs 40 billion through development bonds, Rs 2.5 billion through citizen savings and Rs 500 billion through employment bonds.
