Kathmandu. The Inland Revenue Office, Bhadrapur, collected Rs 4.93 billion in revenue in the last fiscal year. The office had a target of collecting Rs 6.06 billion in revenue. This is 81.31 per cent of the target.

Information Officer at the Office Dilli Ram Chaulagain said that out of the collected revenue, income tax was Rs 2.41 billion, VAT was Rs 1.66 billion and excise duty was Rs 678.95 billion.

Similarly, the office collected Rs 56.66 million as income tax, Rs 936.80 million as interest tax and Rs 26.32 million under other headings.

The jurisdiction of the Inland Revenue Office Bhadradapur is Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung.
