Kathmandu. NADA Auto Show 2026 is going to be held at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Venue in Kathmandu from August 24 to 28. The event is sponsored by HP Lubricants Pvt. Ltd.
This year’s auto show is going to be organized on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of NADA. The six-day expo will present the economic, social and business activities of the automobile and mobility sector in a single platform.
According to the organizers, there will be more than 200 stalls in the expo to be spread over 300,000 square feet. 23 brands of passenger cars, 17 brands of light commercial vehicles, 13 brands of two-wheelers and financial and insurance companies will participate in the expo.
According to the organizers, around 70 stalls of automobiles parts, tires, lubricants, garage appliances, accessories and other mobility related products and services will be held. Vehicles assembled in Nepal, EVs, batteries, helmets and other materials will also be put on display.
New technology and robots highlights
This year’s Auto Show will also showcase the G1 Humanoid Robot and the Go2 Quadruped Robot. According to the organizers, the robot display is going to be organized with the objective of giving visitors a live experience about the technology that could be used in the transport and mobility sector in the future.
Similarly, ‘Made in Nepal / Made for Nepal Pavilion’ will promote vehicles, EVs, batteries, helmets and other automobile components produced and assembled in Nepal.
The event will also feature product launches, smart mobility and sustainable development of automobiles.
Special arrangements from ticketing to parking
According to the organizers, various arrangements have been made for the convenience of the visitors. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Khalti and up to 50% cashback for a fixed period.
A separate media desk will be set up at the exhibition site and a traffic information desk will be set up in coordination with Kathmandu Metropolitan Traffic Police. According to the organizers, the cafeteria will provide clean and healthy food, emergency health teams, CCTV surveillance and fire prevention.
Parking arrangements will also be made at the underground parking lot of Nepal Police Club’s Blue Pavilion and at the National Trading Complex at Singha Durbar. In addition, wheelchair-friendly facilities will be provided.
Expected to receive about two hundred thousand visitors
According to NADA, this year the exhibition has been made more systematic and tech-friendly compared to the previous editions. The organizers expect around two lakh visitors to visit the exhibition in six days.
The main objective of the event is to provide an opportunity to automobile entrepreneurs, industrialists, buyers, auto lovers, media persons and the general public to get information about new vehicles, technologies and services at one place.
In this year’s Auto Show, Shikhar Insurance Company is the co-sponsor and insurance partner, CAMPA Beverage Partner, GI Charger Charging Partner, The Plaza Hospitality Partner, Khalti by IME Ticketing Partner, YANGO Mobility Partner and WorldLink Connectivity Partner.
Similarly, HIKVISION CCTV Nepal will be the Surveillance Partner, Alka Hospital Hospital Partner, The Bakery Cafe Food Partner and Global Exposition & Management Services (GEMS) will be the Event Management Partner.
