Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank’s Profit Increases According to the financial report released by the bank for the fourth quarter of the last FY, the net profit of the bank increased by 12.89 percent. During the period, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 2.04 billion. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 1.81 billion in the same period last year.
According to the financial details of the bank, the bank’s net interest income increased by 1.30 percent and the net fee and commission income increased by 7.12 percent in the review period.
In the review period, the bank’s total operating income increased by 5.21 percent. The bank’s operating profit increased by 6.22 percent to Rs 940.1 million from Rs 1.03 billion. This is the reason why the bank’s profit has increased during the review period.
Along with the profit, the bank’s earnings per share (EPS) has also increased. During the period, the EPS of the bank increased by Rs 1.42 to Rs 18.04. The net worth per share of the bank is Rs 194.73.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 11.33 billion and reserve fund of Rs 10.73 billion. During the period, the bank collected deposit of Rs 212 billion and extended loans of Rs 146 billion.
