Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index posted a double-digit fall on Thursday. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 0.26 points to close at 2,622.22 points.
A total of 9,508,882 units of shares of 346 companies were traded in NEPSE. Shares worth Rs 3.29 billion were traded. Today, the highest turnover was made by Sahas Energy Limited. The company has a turnover of Rs 17.52 crore.
In today’s market, the investors of Mount Everest Power Development have made the most profits. The company’s share price has risen by more than 14 percent.
On the other hand, the investors of Manakamana Engineering Hydropower Limited suffered the most. The company’s share price fell by more than 8 percent.
