Kathmandu. Preparations for the book festival have been completed. The preparations for the third edition of the book festival to be held in the UK have been completed, according to the organizer Kitab Yatra Foundation. 

The event will be held at the Embassy of Nepal in London on August 21, 2019.

According to Rishiram Adhikari, chairman of Kitab Yatra Foundation, the program will be organized for four hours to address Nepali literature, culture, lifestyle and business world in the UK.“We call on Nepali writers,cultural activists and entrepreneurs in the UK to participate in the Kitab Jatra ,” said the official.

Bhuvan Bhandari, who is also the secretary of the organizing committee of Kitab Jatra UK and Editor-in-Chief of arthkhabar. com, expressed his confidence that this year’s program would be conducted in a grand and dignified manner than the previous editions. He also said that the UK edition is held regularly every year in collaboration with Kitab Yatra.

Senior journalist Tikaram Yatri, writer Rabindra Same er and others have already arrived in the UK from Nepal to participate in the Jatra.According to the organizers, the book festival will start at 2 pm. 

The ‘Kitab Jatra’ that started in Nepal in 2075 BS has successfully concluded in India and America. In the UK, it was held for the first time in 2023.
