Kathmandu. Dirgha Bahadur Rawal has been sworn in as the newly appointed deputy governor of Nepal Ra stra Bank (NR B). On Thursday, the Governor of the Rashtra Bank, Dr. He took oath of office and secrecy from Bishwanath Poudel. 

Deputy Governor Rawal took the oath of office and secrecy from the post of Deputy Governor Rawal today and took the oath of office (Thursday).

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday appointed Rawal as the deputy governor.

Deputy Governor Rawal had joined the bank as Assistant Director on January 15, 2006.He was promoted to the post of Deputy Director in 2069 BS, Director in 2075 BS and Executive Director ofRastra Bank on June 2, 2082.

After the promotion of , he was the head of the supervisory department of the bank.
