Kathmandu. Savers who have saved a large amount of money in the problematic cooperative have been asked to fill the form. The Troubled Cooperative Management Office has urged savers who have saved Rs 10 million or more to fill up the self-declaration form. 

According to the Office of the Troubled Cooperative Management Committee, the process of filling the self-declaration form has been initiated as per the decision of the committee on July 2 5.

Under this process, the saver will have to clearly disclose his personal details, the total savings in the cooperative and the source of that saving.According to the prevailing law, the entire tax must be paid . 

If there is no space to fill the details in the designated palace while filling up the self-declaration form, the saver can attach the remaining details in a separate sheet. 

According to the committee’s office, the form was filled out to ensure that the money saved in the cooperative was not earned through money laundering,terrorist activities or other criminal offenses.The office of the committee has also said that if necessary to confirm the amount mentioned in the form, the relevant documents and proof will be asked from the saver.
