Shivam Cement to donate 11,000 sacks of cement to flood victims

Kathmandu. Shivam Cement Limited and Shivam Holdings Limited have announced support for the relief, rescue and reconstruction of the people affected by the devastating floods and landslides on August 10.

Shivam Cement, in coordination with the Government of Nepal, has decided to provide 110,000 sacks of Shivam OPC cement free of cost to each family for the purpose of reconstruction of houses for flood-affected families.

Similarly, Shivam Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Shivam Cement, has contributed Rs 21 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund. The amount will be used for relief, rescue, rehabilitation and post-disaster reconstruction.

Expressing sorrow over the loss of lives and property in flood and landslide-affected areas including Rasuwa, the Company has pledged to continue providing support in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the affected people in this difficult time by collaborating with the government, local levels and the concerned bodies.
