Kathmandu. The second fortnightly prize of the month of July has been announced under the Taxpayer Incentive Award. The Inland Revenue Department organized a program at the Ministry of Finance. Swarnim Wagle and Finance Secretary Dr. The award was announced by Ghanashyam Upadhyaya.
Consumers involved in regular transactions from August 1 to 14 have participated in the incentive award.
According to the department, there has been an increase in the number of consumers participating in the award in the first month of the year. During the period alone, 3,57,149 bills of cash transaction were registered as gifts.
Prior to this, the number of consumers uploading bills in the first 15 days of August was only 7,077. Similarly, the number of transactions of customers who automatically participated in the gift scheme through QR transactions increased from 2,56,08,094 to 3,20,86,380.
According to the department, the total number of transactions in the gift scheme in the last 17 days has reached 3,24,43,229. Out of these, 17 winners were selected. Out of this, each person from August 1 to 17 from August 1 to 17 received Rs 133,334 each. They will get Rs 1 lakh after deducting tax.
Similarly, one of them won a bumper prize of Rs 10 lakh. Among them, those who purchased goods worth Rs 350 through Ganesh Electronics and Mobile Center received bumper prizes. The prize money will be taxed at 25 percent.
