Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has jacked up the prices of petroleum products. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel to be effective from 12.01 am on Sunday.

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by five per litre. Likewise, aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 20 per litre in the domestic sector and by USD 131 per kilolitre in the international sector.

According to the new purchase price sent by Indian Oil Corporation on July 31, 2026, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 20.19, diesel by Rs 39.67 and that of aviation fuel by Rs 19.6 per liter.

As per the new price list, petrol and diesel will cost Rs 200 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal. The price has been fixed at Rs 199 in Surkhet and Dang. Similarly, the price has been increased to Rs 197.50 per cent in Charali, Biratnagar, Jakapur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Dhangadhi and Birgunj. However, the price of cooking LP gas has remained unchanged.

Previously, the price of petrol was Rs 197 per litre while diesel÷kerosene was Rs 195 per litre. The corporation will incur a loss of Rs 1.49 billion on a fortnightly basis even after adjusting the retail price of petroleum products.
