Kathmandu. Three people have been arrested for selling goat meat under the guise of goat meat. Three people have been arrested for selling goat meat by opening a meat shop near Ratopul in Kathmandu.

The arrestees have been identified as 25-year-old Mohammad from Sitamani of India and currently living at Ratopul, Kathmandu, Arun Karki, 18, of Mansuri, Nuwakot and Sujan Rasaili, 21, of Hetauda.

According to the police, they were arrested after they were found selling goat meat at Rs 1800 per kg.

They were arrested with goat meat and goat , police said. According to the police, the three arrested have been kept at Police Circle Gaushala and further investigation is underway.
