Birgunj. The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 23.46 billion in revenue in the last one month. According to the Birgunj Customs Office, Rs 23.46 billion in revenue was collected in the last fiscal year 2083÷84. This is 99.75 percent of the monthly target given to the office.

With the collection till mid-September, 14.52 per cent of the annual revenue target has been fulfilled, said Purna Prasad Lamsal, spokesperson of the Chief Customs Office.

According to the customs office, biscuits, pulses, clothes and garments, industrial raw materials and food are the major imported items on the basis of value and revenue contribution.
