Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has directed to present legal measures for the development and reform of capital market. He gave this directive while holding a discussion with the senior officials of Nepal Rastra Bank and Securities Board of Nepal at the Ministry of Finance.

Themeeting was attended by Dr. Bishwanath Poudel, Chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Dr. Gopal Bhat ta, Deputy Governor of Rastra Bank and Narayan Sharma Poudel, Deputy Executive Director of Securities Board of Nepal were present. Gopal Bhatta, Deputy Governor of Nepal Bank Kiran Pandit and Deputy Executive Director of Securities Board of Nepal Narayan Sharma Poudel were present.

At present, the government is preparing a package for capital market reform. For this, the Finance Minister has discussed and asked for measures to reform the market, according to an official of the Ministry of Finance.
