Kathmandu. Flights have been affected due to inclement weather. Flights have been affected due to low visibility due to incessant rain and foggy weather since Thursday.

Buddha Air’s information officer Dipendra Karna said that flights in Pokhara, Bharatpur and Tumlingtar have been affected due to low visibility. Similarly, mountain flights have also been suspended due to the weather.

Buddha Air currently operates flights to Bhadrapur, Tumlingtar, Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Simara, Bharatpur, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dhangadhi and Varanasi of India and Kolkata.

Similarly, Yeti Airlines issued a notice today stating that flights of Yeti Airlines may be delayed and rescheduled due to adverse weather. Yeti Airlines has requested passengers to check the latest flight information through the airline’s website or mobile app before departing for the airport.

Spokesperson of the airline, Sudarshan Bartaula, said that due to low vitiability, Yeti could not fly to Pokhara. Spokesperson Bartaula said that flights to other destinations could not be operated on time due to the weather. The number of passengers at Tribhuvan International Airport has increased due to the disruption of domestic flights.
