Free treatment for cancer patients in flood-affected areas

Kathmandu. Cancer patients in flood-affected areas will be treated free of cost. Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital has decided to provide free treatment to cancer patients in the areas damaged by the floods in Bhotekoshi.

According to the hospital, cancer patients from flood-affected areas including Rasuwa, Dhading, Nuwakot and Chitwan will be treated free of cost.

Under the free treatment, the hospital has said that it will provide free bed charge, lab test, oxygen and medicines as much as is available to the patients of flood-affected areas.

Currently , the hospital has been providing 10 percent free beds and treatment services to cancer patients in flood-affected areas.
