Kathmandu. On the occasion of this year’s Haritalika Teej, there is a queue of women devotees at the Pashupatinath temple since early morning. According to the Pashupati Area Development Trust, all the four gates of Pashupatinath have been opened since three am today for the convenience of the women observing Haritalika fast. Four darshan routes have been arranged for the devotees to enter the temple.

Arrangements have been made for the first queue to go out from the western gate after going through Mitrapark-Umakunda-Dakshinamurti-Kailash BadriNarsingh building, from the northern ramp, to Shree Pashupatinath Temple, after offering worship to the deity, said PADT member-secretary Tirtha Shrestha.

The second queue from Jayabageshwari to the left is Dathutol, Pacha Ganesh, Annapurna Bhandar, Mahabath Ghar No. 1. Arrangements have been made to get out of the western gate from the Akash Bridge in front of the door to Bhuvaneshwari, Nasalchowk and through the small door of the Akash Pul Police Guard Battalion in front of Shankaracharya Math.

Similarly, arrangements have been made for the devotees coming from the airport to Sinamangal, the gate next to the Tilganga Tourism Counter, Ram Temple, the Bagmati bank and the Brahmanal from Aryaghat bridge, the east face from the ramp placed at the east gate and return through the same gate.

Arrangements have been made for the devotees coming from Pingalasthan to visit the door of Pingalasthan, Char Shivalaya-Panchadewal Old Age Home, in front of the big door on the south side, the temporary sky bridge, through the small door, through the small door, through the Chausath Kotilingeshwor, and after visiting the south face of the temple, the unmatted Bhairav temple will return from the west side in front of the Mulbhatta Niwas. On the occasion of Teej festival, 4,000 security personnel and 855 volunteers from 24 religious and social organizations have been deployed at the Pashupatinath area today. Arrangements have been made for the distribution of sandalwood to the devotees at Sano Sadavart Sattal, Tilganga, Umakunda, Jayabageshwari and Gaushala. On the occasion of the Haritalika festival, devotees queue up at Pashupatinath and Shiva temples across the country to offer prayers. Devotees queue up at the Mahadev temples, including Makhan Mahadev, Doleshwar, Tripureshwor and other Mahadev temples in Basantapur Durbar Square, also known as Gokarneshwor, Nageshwor and Sano Pashupatinath.
